THE condition of the teenage boy gunned down in a triple shooting is now improving more than two weeks after he was placed on a life support machine.

Police investigating the case say the news is positive but have still not arrested anyone.

Jhanghir Khan, 15, was fighting for his life at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, after suffering gunshot wounds to his head and neck in the shooting outside his home in Kitchener Road, High Wycombe, at around 6am on April 11.

His brothers Shoukat and Azad Khan, both 21, also suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and neck but have left hospital, recovering.

Superintendent Mick Doyle, of High Wycombe police, who is investigating the case, said it is good news that Jhanghir's condition is improving.

He added: "We would like to repeat that we are grateful for the help and support we have received from the community so far."

But he added that they are still appealing for witnesses.
