Road in Denbigh closed after motorcycle and car collide

A ROAD in Denbigh was closed after a car collided with a motorcycle.

One man has been taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd by Ambulance.

Police were called to the incident which happened on Ffordd y Graig (Graig Road) near Colomendy Industrial Estate just after 10am.

The road was closed for over an hour and a half.

An ambulance crew attended thwe scene and took one man to hospital.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said "We were called at about 10.20am to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a motorcycle on Graig Road, Denbigh.

"A young man has been taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with non-life-threatening injuries."

A spokeswoman for North Wales Police said: "We were called at 10.13 to reports of a road traffic collision between a motorcycle and a car.

"The road closed from Colomendy to Graig Road.

"The road was reopened by 11.40am."
