Warning after attempted break-in at Ruthin pub

BUSINESS owners and residents in Ruthin are being warned to be vigilant after an attempted break-in.

The attempted to break into The Feathers pub on Well Street in Ruthin was made at around 3am on Wednesday morning.

The pub's manager Stephanie Lockley discovered the attempt after noticing damage to CCTV.

Stephanie said: "We just want to warn other business owners and property owners in the town really that these people are out there.

"One of the cameras had been moved, it wasn't where it was supposed to be so i checked what had happened and saw what had happened on the CCTV

"They were checking the windows and doors to get in. The Police are following it up."

Anyone with any relevant information is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101 with incident number V032635.
