THE WORLD-famous Red Arrows display team will return to Rhyl this Summer to perform at the annual Air Show.

Denbighshire County Council have announced that Rhyl's annual air show will take place on August 26 and 27, and that the RAF aerobatic display team are confirmed for the Sunday line-up alongside the Dakota, Spitfire and Hurricane that are confirmed to attend on both days.

The programme will also feature a whole host of incredible civilian aircraft with details to be announced in the coming weeks.

Jamie Groves, Head of Facilities, Assets and Housing, said: “The Red Arrows are a huge favourite with visitors to the Rhyl Air Show. The Air Show is always an important date in our calendar and I’m certain that this year will be no different.

“The show brings in tens of thousands of people on to the Promenade and provides a huge boost to our local economy, with those visitors spending money in our shops, restaurants and hotels”.

The event is organised by Denbighshire County Council and supported by Rhyl Town Council.

The full line-up for the Air Show will be revealed in due course. To see latest news and updates visit www.denbighshire.gov.uk/rhylairshow.
