Two people have been arrested after police found “a large quantity” class A and B drugs during raids on Friday.
Police raided three houses, two in Denbigh and one in Llansannan with both arrests taking place in Llansannan.
Both have been bailed pending further inquiries.
Police found a quantity of Class A drugs and paraphenalia at the property on Ffordd Gogor in Llansannan.
Police also found a quantity of Class B drugs at the houses on Lon Llewelyn and Abbey Court in Denbigh.
North Wales Police’s Denbigh, St Asaph and Ruthin Policing Team said: “Three search warrants were executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act at addresses in Denbigh and Llansannan on Friday 31st March resulting in the seizure of a large quantity of Class A and B drugs and several arrests.
“This was the latest operation conducted by Conwy Rural officers in the ongoing investigation into the misuse of controlled drugs and it’s link to violent crime and disorder in the Denbigh area.
“We are very much aware of recent concerns raised by the local community,particularly in the Upper Denbigh ward and residents can be rest assured that this operation will continue until those involved understand that their unlawful activities will not be tolerated.
“Members of the public are reminded that they can pass information confidentially via the Force Control Room (x101) Crimestoppers,at Denbigh Police Station or informally via our Response and SNT officers when out and about.”
