A TRACTOR has been destroyed in a fire at a park in Denbigh.
The vehicle caught fire at Middle Parc, near Denbigh High and the cricket club, and fire crews were called out to tackle the blaze on the evening of Thursday, August 29.
Crews from Rhyl, Denbigh and Ruthin took more than 45 minutes to bring the incident under control.
A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue said: "We were called at 5.47pm to a a tractor alight in a playground near Park Street.
"The vehicle was working in a field carrying out cuttings when the driver noticed smoke coming out of it and contacted us.
"We called a stop to the fire at 6.36pm, and there was 100 percent fire damage to the tractor. The cause was an electrical fault."
