READ MORE: Author Sharon's first novel has been set in Denbigh

Sharon's first novel is Linen and Rooks.

The novel is set in Denbigh and it tells the story of three women who live in three different centuries.

However, their tragic stories become interwoven in a house they 'share' in the town.

The story opens at Lleweni, where in the 1800s a bleach Works was built and linen from Ireland was bleached.

Linen and Rooks also includes references to cholera arriving in the town in 1830 and the building of the North Wales asylum.

The Ruthin Library event is free of charge and to book a place for the workshop, interested people can call 01824 705274.
