DEREK THOMAS LLOYD April 14th 1941 - 23rd November 2017 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Derek Lloyd. He passed away peacefully at Innisfree House, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada on November 23rd 2017 in his 77th year. Survived by the mother of his children Anne Lloyd (Webster), loving and supportive father to Louise Lloyd (Nam-Seob Mun) and Rebecca Gorman (Shawn). Grandad to Dylan, Morgan, Liam and Brendan.
Born in Ruthin, Derek grew up in Abergele and emigrated to Canada in 1983, and his family followed in 1989. In Canada and North Wales, Derek's legacy of roofing and slating skills will be admired for years to come. He has a passion for football, especially his favourite team, Manchester United. Above all, Derek will be remembered for his love and devotion of his four grandson - his pride and joy.
