LIZ FERRARO nee Elizabeth Robins Liz passed away peacefully on the 14th June 2018 at her home in Freystop, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, following a long valiantly fought illness. Liz is the beloved elder daughter of Barbara Selwyn-Williams and the late Bob Robins of Rhyl and the dear sister of Robert and Alex Robins. Liz is survived by her partner Phil Jones. Liz leaves her two sons Angus and Marcus, also her two small grand daughters. After leaving Rhyl High School, she undertook Radiography training in Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth. Liz latterly worked at West Wales Hospital in Carmarthen as an Ultrasonographer, until ill health forced her to retire. In her younger days she was the principal soloist in the choir of St. Thomas' Church, Rhyl, singing for weddings and recitals under the direction of Mrs Carol Rees Field, organist and choirmaster. Liz's funeral was held on Monday 25th June 2018 at Narberth Crematorium in Pembrokeshire. There were family flowers only but donations are being gratefully received by Adam's Bucketful of Hope a cancer charity where Liz voluntered, via the Funeral Director Paul Jenkins & Sons Feidr Castell, Fishguard SA65 9BB.
