SMITH. David James (Dave) 3rd April, 2023 Peacefully at Glan Clwyd Hospital aged 75 years and of St. Asaph Road, Dyserth. Dearly loved husband of Tricia, much loved father and father-in-law of Sarah and Jamie, Phillip and Sarah and loving brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Margaret. Funeral service will be held at St. Asaph Crematorium on Thursday, 27th April at 3:00pm. No flowers please, donations in lieu will be gratefully received towards the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust per Ivor Howatson & Son, Funeral Directors, Sisson Street, Rhyl. Tel: 01745 331182

So sad to hear of Dave’s passing. He Captained the Pilkington Cricket Club side on it’s journey into the North Wales Cricket League.
A fierce competitor but a true Gent! It was a pleasure knowing him!
My and my family’s feelings go out to his family! Xx

Dave was a very pleasant guy to work with , we met at Pilks St Asaph , he managed the machine shop competently was well thought of by his colleagues, he also supported charaties donating his time , he is a sad loss to the Area

So sorry to hear of Daves' passing. I knew Dave as a cricketing team mate , a great competitor with a wry sense of humour. Enjoyed his company on and off the field . Rest in Peace Mr Smith.
