DAVIES Elizabeth "Betty" On Tuesday 19th September we said goodbye to Elizabeth (Betty) Davies formerly of the Mountain View, Mochdre after a very short illness. Betty had just reached the grand age of 95 and leaves behind 3 children, Susan, Sallie and Alan, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grand children. Whilst it is a huge loss to the family, she is finally re-united with her husband Ian after 32 long years. Thank you to everyone for their kind words and condolences at this very sad time. There will be a small memorial gathering at the Mountain View, Mochdre on Friday 6th October between the hours of 2pm and 4pm to allow people to pay their respects. Betty did not want flowers but left a wish that any donations be made to the Woodland Trust where, on their website, it is possible to request a tree be planted in Henryd woods near Conwy.
