HUGHES Colin (Colin Gardd Fôn) Peacefully at Glan Clwyd 2nd January 2024 (of Winchester Drive Prestatyn) Well known throughout North Wales, a larger than life "character" who was a much loved and respected horse racing fan, a staunch Bangor City Football Club supporter and member of Bangor Social Club. A celebratory funeral service will be held at St Bridget's Church, Dyserth on Wednesday 24th January at 12 noon, followed by a cremation at Bangor Crematorium at 2.30pm. Recognising that the weather and distance may not make it sensible to attend both locations, refreshments will be provided at each. A collection in memory of Colin will be made for the Injured Jockeys Fund and Bangor 1876 Football Club. Donations via the Funeral Directors please. No dark clothes at Colin's request.
