A WELSH international footballer returned to his North Wales roots this week, taking time out of the game to pay visit to a local shop and football match.
Harry Wilson, who grew up in Corwen, plays for Championship side Derby County (on loan from Liverpool) and has earned himself eight caps for his country since making his debut in 2013, scoring twice.
On Saturday, he paid a visit to the "Spirit of 58" shop in Bala, which specialises in Welsh football memorabilia.
The 21-year-old winger took the time talk to his young fans and take pictures with them.
Spirit of 58 owner Tim Williams has ran the business for nearly a decade, having started out online.
Over the years, it has become the place to go for Wales' most hardcore supporters to buy their shirts, scarves, the now-iconic bucket hats and so much more.
Tim, who was on hand to greet Harry Wilson on the day of his visit, said: "Harry is a great lad, he used some of his free time to come to the shop and see the local kids. He made their day.
"Whilst it was a great day for the shop, it was also a great day for the town as a whole and the kids from Bala Junior Football Club who I invited to the shop to meet him."
As well as visiting the shop, Wilson, who has missed Derby's last two games due to a hip problem, also took the time to go and watch Corwen's 6-1 win over Pwllheli in the FAW Trophy.
The talented youngster has risen to fame this season in particular, scoring a fine selection of goals for Derby under the guidance of manager Frank Lampard.
The pick of the bunch came when he scored a wonderful free-kick at Old Trafford which helped The Rams on their way to knocking Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup in a memorable victory back in September 2018.
