A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a collision in Denbighshire on Friday night.
Officers from the Road Policing Unit confirmed the motorcyclist, from Merseyside, suffered serious injuries after the crash on the A543 between Groes and Bylchau just before 5pm on July 23.
It involved a black coloured Ford Ranger motor car and a black coloured Honda CBR motorcycle and the motorcyclist was taken to The Royal Stoke Hospital by the Welsh Air Ambulance.
Sergeant Raymond Williams said: “I hope the motorcyclist makes a good recovery.
“I am appealing to anyone who was travelling on the road at that time that witnessed the collision or may have dash-cam footage that shows either vehicle prior to the collision. I would also welcome anyone who may have been travelling that route that has dash-cam to contact us. “The road was closed in order to carry out a full forensic investigation into the collision and I am grateful for the patience shown by road users whose journey may have been inconvenienced due to this incident.”
The road was re-opened about 11pm.
