FOUR kittens that were 'battered and bruised' after being thrown out of a moving car have had their 'happily ever afters'.
Back in June, a heart-breaking appeal had come from an animal rescue centre after a group of kittens were abandoned in the most horrific way.
The four kitties came to North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR), based in Holywell, to continue their recovery and hopefully find their forever homes after suffering a terrifying incident in Denbighshire.
The youngsters were 'chucked out of a moving car like a bit of rubbish' and survived the fall.
A spokesman for NCAR said there is more good news to share as all four kittens made a full recovery.
They added: "You may remember a while back we posted an appeal about 4 little kittens that sadly got thrown out of a moving car and they were battered and bruised, but after the amazing support and donations you sent to them via our appeal we have some happily ever afters to show you.
"All four kittens have made a great recovery but sadly Tumble got the worst injury and had to unfortunately have his front leg amputated this week. But it hasn’t stopped him one little bit and is doing amazingly and we couldn’t be more proud of him and his recovery.
"Thanks to your donations we were able to do this big operation on a small kitten and make his future life a much brighter one- so thank you
"The other good news, they all have fabulous new loving homes and as you can see from the pictures they have all found the homes that they truly deserve.
"Your donations have made such a difference to four helpless little kittens who found themselves in a situation through no fault of their own and we just want to say thank you."
