A MULTI-AWARD winning Denbighshire company has been congratulated by an MS.

Sam Rowlands, MS for North Wales, has praised Rhuallt luxury touring caravans manufacturer the Fifth Wheel Company.

Mr said: “I was recently delighted to have the opportunity to look around the multi award winning, Fifth Wheel Company in Rhuallt.

“The company manufactures recreational vehicles, known as RVs, and has had great success since it first began in 2002 by importing Fifth Wheel RVs from America.

“They then they decided to produce similar but higher quality vehicles here in North Wales, and the business has continued to grow.

“Fifth Wheel proudly leads the way in British design and manufacturing of luxury tourers with most of the components made on site, from the insulated panels to the wooden furniture inside the vehicles.

“The insulation is made from recycled plastic bottles which people throw away in their household waste so not only is it a very successful business but they are also helping the environment.”

The Fifth Wheel’s journey started in 2002 when the owners set out to bring sheer comfort, luxury and flexibility to the outdoors.

Since beginning almost two decades ago, the company has been awarded numerous accolades over the years, including the Caravan Club Design Award five years in a row and achieving a verdict of 10 out of 10 by the Caravan Club Magazine.
