ON Thursday, November 11, the staff and pupils of the CCF Division (Combined Cadet Force) at St Brigid’s School in Denbigh held its Armistice service for all staff and pupils.
The remembrance event was led by headteacher Leah Crimes and CCF, RAF and Army sections under the leadership of Lieutenant Jim Wood, contingent commander; Squadron Leader Phil Roberts, Captain Ann Bunn and Lieutenant Anne Spiller.
Cadet Corporal Elsie Smith, from Year 13, played “The Last Post” and “Reveille” to honour those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
