PLANS are already in place for a busy 2022 as far as history buffs are concerned.

However, before then, the Llandyrnog and Llangwyfan Local History Society will be holding a pre-Christmas coffee morning.

This will take place this Saturday, November 27 (10am-12pm) in Llandyrnog Village Hall, with plenty of space available for everyone to feel comfortable.

Entry and refreshments will be free and there will be cakes and produce, plus bric a brac stalls and a raffle with numerous prizes which have been kindly donated by individuals and local businesses.

There will also be a number of history society publications for sale.

This event is being supported by the Clocaenog Forest Wind Farm Community Fund.

Meanwhile, the Society has published its programme of meetings for 2022 and topics include 'Historical Gardens of Clwyd', 'Landed Estates in Wales: History and Significance and Reflections on 50 years of Ordained Ministry' and also a summer visit to Gwrych Castle.

All are welcome to society meetings, with members paying only £5 for the yearly programme of three meetings and visitors £3 per meeting and free light refreshments are served for all at the end of every meeting.

Anyone interested in the meetings, becoming a society member or helping with any projects should e-mail the secretary for further information via llangwyfanhistory@hotmail.com
