Prime lambs (auctioneer-Elfor Morris):
A total of 2,388 prime lambs forward to an overall average of 275ppkand an SQQ of 278ppk.
The sum of 1,212 medium lambs forward at 283ppk, but as in previous weeks 330 heavy lambs at an average weight of 48.5kg stole the show at £134 per head or 276ppk.
Standard lambs averaging 270ppk.
Very few lights forward, with an average weight of 30kg probably a touch too light for the trade and averaging 241ppk.

A total of 115 store cattle forward on the day and another good trade throughout.
Some longer term heifers about, but demand continues to fill the ring side stand.

The majority comprised of dairy types with older types looking very well sold.
Plenty of people present for those older types.

Store lambs dearer on the week again, following the finished trade with plenty of the strongest types hitting the £100+ mark.
Plenty of buyers for the longer term lambs buying with confidence.

Prime lambs (auctioneer-Elfor Morris):
A total of 2,377 lambs forward on the day with trade stronger on the week again.
An overall average of 273ppk and an SQQ of 275ppk.
A tremendous show of 1,161 medium weight (43kg) lambs achieved a blistering 278ppk or £119.90 per head, followed closely by the standards and heavies in the early 270ppk range.
More of those heavy lambs breaking the £140-plus mark with plenty of the top end over £3 per kilo.
