More than four in five adults in Denbighshire have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.
Public Health Wales data shows 69,121 people aged 18 and over have been given both doses of a vaccine up to November 28 – 84% of the area's adults.
They make up part of the 71,838 people who have been given at least one jab – 88% of the over-18 population.
Figures also show 1,585 16 and 17-year-olds in Denbighshire (70% of the age group) and 2,324 12 to 15-year-olds (44%) had received a first dose by then.
The data on second doses for each age group in the area shows:
16 to 17 – 620 administered (27%)
18 to 29 – 9,290 administered (70%)
30 to 39 – 8,024 administered (70%)
40 to 49 – 9,392 administered (81%)
50 to 54 – 6,521 administered (88%)
55 to 59 – 6,950 administered (90%)
60 to 64 – 6,331 administered (92%)
65 to 69 – 5,804 administered (94%)
70 to 74 – 6,437 administered (96%)
75 to 79 – 4,585 administered (96%)
80 and over – 5,787 administered (96%)
Across Wales, 2.3 million people have had both doses, equating to 82% of the over-12 population, while 2.5 million (90%) have had at least one dose and 825,934 people (30%) have had a booster vaccination.
The rates have been updated using recently released 2020 mid-year population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
