Nearly nine in 10 adults in Denbighshire have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.
Public Health Wales data shows 69,988 people aged 18 and over have been given both doses of a vaccine up to January 9 – 85% of the area's adults.
They make up part of the 72,428 people who have been given at least one jab – 88% of the over-18 population.
Figures also show 1,683 16 and 17-year-olds in Denbighshire (74% of the age group) and 2,861 12 to 15-year-olds (53%) had received a first dose by then.
The data for each age group in the area shows:
16 to 17 – 1,028 fully vaccinated (45%)
18 to 29 – 9,638 fully vaccinated (72%)
30 to 39 – 8,298 fully vaccinated (72%)
40 to 49 – 9,550 fully vaccinated (82%)
50 to 54 – 6,574 fully vaccinated (88%)
55 to 59 – 7,000 fully vaccinated (90%)
60 to 64 – 6,370 fully vaccinated (92%)
65 to 69 – 5,823 fully vaccinated (94%)
70 to 74 – 6,443 fully vaccinated (96%)
75 to 79 – 4,576 fully vaccinated (96%)
80 and over – 5,716 fully vaccinated (96%)
Across Wales, 2.3 million people have had both doses, equating to 85% of the over-12 population, while 2.5 million (91%) have had at least one dose and 1.7 million people (63%) have had a booster vaccination.
