THERE have been more than 900 new cases of Covid recorded in Wales.
In the latest update from Public Health Wales on Tuesday, it was reported that there had been 923 new positive tests.
There have been no additional deaths reported.
Of the 923 new cases, 204 were here in North Wales.
The Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board, covering North Wales, saw the highest number of new cases.
New Covid cases in North Wales can be broken down to:
- Conwy 45
- Flintshire 44
- Wrexham 38
- Gwynedd 36
- Denbighshire 25
- Anglesey 16
Meanwhile, in neighbouring Powys Teaching Health Board there were 28 new cases of Covid recorded.
This brings the total since the pandemic began to 23,894.
There have now been 803,360 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Wales since the start of the pandemic.
In Wales as a whole, 1,865,020 people have now had their third or booster jab of a vaccine.
The seven-day rolling rate of infection in Wales is now 326.8 cases per 100,000 population.
Here in North Wales, no county has an infection rate above the national average.
The highest is 320.0 in Wrexham and the lowest is 287.0 in Anglesey.
In Powys, the rate is 288.4.
