OVER one hundred people turned up to a Denbighshire vigil in support of Ukrainian people.
Organised by the local group of YesCymru, the vigil took place on Saturday March 5 in Ruthin.
Over one hundred people came together in solidarity with those currently fleeing Ukraine following the Russian invasion of the country.

Local Senedd Member Llyr Hughes Gruffydd called on the UK Government to move quicker and follow the lead of European countries.
Other speakers included Elfed Williams, who has just been appointed to the YesCymru Central Committee and two Ruthin Councillors, Ethan Jones and Rachel Lewington.

Over £200 was raised for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) which currently has a humanitarian appeal out to help Ukraine.
The YesCymru group has around 300 members, and are often seen in Ruthin, either by Tesco's Roundabout, or more recently in Ffordd Glasdir.
