THERE will be a 2020 vision when a popular Vale of Clwyd event returns this summer.
Denbigh Carnival is all set to return following a break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with Saturday, June 25 marked as the big day.
The royal retinue for this year's carnival will be those that were selected for the 2020 event, which was unfortunately cancelled.
This year's carnival will get underway at 11am with a procession of floats, carnival royalty and performers, from Caledfryn, on Smithfield Road.
After leaving from the county council offices at Caledfryn, the procession will head down Smithfield Road and then pass through Lenten Pool, over the High Street and down Vale Street, before turning onto Ruthin Road and Park Street to enter Middle Park.

A huge variety of entertainment and activities will be on offer for all ages on the carnival field, with the 2022 event being the eighth festival since the carnival was resurrected back in 2013.
In addition, there will be a motor show running alongside the carnival.
