RESIDENTS in the region are continuing to give their support to Ukrainian people.
The Rotary Club of Denbigh recently grouped together to man a day of collecting monetary contributions for Ukraine at the Aldi store at Denbigh.
A brilliant total of £760 was collected on the day, which was match-funded by the "Sumup" mobile card reader company, therefore giving a grand total of £1,520.00 towards the British Red Cross fund for Ukraine.
A rotary club spokesman said: "Our grateful thanks go out to all who contributed and to the management and staff of the Aldi store at Denbigh for their kind cooperation in this event."
