WHAT a brilliant way to finish a tournament!
In front of another bumper crowd at Denbigh Town FC's Central Park, Wales superbly defeated Spain on penalties to bring the curtain down on their UEFA Under-16s Development Tournament.
Spain went into the match on the back of a pair of 3-1 triumphs versus Turkey and Spain, but it was Wales who prevailed on this occasion.
Joseph Hatch and Freddie Issaka were the scorers for Wales in a 2-2 draw, with the home nation earning the extra point by winning the penalty shoot-out.
This was Wales' first win in the tournament, as they were edged out 2-1 by Brazil, before losing on penalties versus Turkey.
