THEY'VE been thinking seasonal at a Vale of Clwyd group.
At a well-attended meeting of the Denbigh Floral Art Club held at the Plas Pigot Country Club earlier this month, Leanne Williams, from Welshpool, gave a very entertaining and informative demonstration entitled “Seasonal Sensation”.
The first arrangement was for Easter and contained several arum lilies which were a new strain, so that the heads stayed very upright instead of hanging down, and the added coloured ferns really showed up with the rest of the foliage.

Altogether Leanne gave those present a comprehensive insight into flower arranging, even though she started her career as a florist with a successful shop and has only just entered the realms of flower arranging.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, May 3 at the Plas Pigot Country Club, commencing at 7.30pm.
In attendance will be Lieneke Van Der Veen, from Caernarfon, with her demonstration entitled “Spring with a Continental Touch”. Everyone is welcome.
The event scheduled for June is an open meeting to be held at Theatr Twm o’r Nant.
This will be from 7.30pm on Thursday, June 9.
The price for this event is £10 and tickets are available from members or on the door.
The demonstrator at this event is Debbie Davies, from Formby, who has featured several times in the latest Flower Arranger magazine, and her theme is “Floral Fashion”.
