FANCY a laugh and a whodunnit?
If so, Denbigh's Phoenix Players will have just what you are looking for!
Death of the Dowager will be on stage at Denbigh's Theatr Twm o'r Nant between May 19 and 21.
This comedy murder mystery takes place over three days, somewhere, sometime in the 1920s.
It is cold and snowy. The atmosphere in the aristocratic home is tense!
The Dowager is slowly dying, all her family and household staff are in attendance, all in the expectation of receiving “a little something” in her will.
We meet her two daughters, Millicent and Mary, together with Millicent’s not too bright ex-army husband Buffo, and the Dowager’s batty brother, not to mention the butler, the housekeeper and the doctor who is there to make the Dowager’s last days more comfortable.
But not everything is as it seems and while the deep snow makes it impossible for anyone to get through, Death still manages to make an appearance!
When a dead body is found it is clear the murderer must be a member of the household, but which one? And why?
Join in and see if you can work it out!
There will be 7.30pm stagings on all three nights, with a 2pm matinee on Saturday, May 21.
People can book their tickets online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/dpp or by calling 0792 151 6295.
Front row seating is reserved for the less able guest and needs to be booked by phone.
