CELEBRATING one of Wales' most famous writers will be the topic of a Vale of Clwyd event later this month.
The St Dyfnog's Well Restoration Project, in Llanrhaeadr, is to host a series of events to celebrate International Dylan Thomas Day.
On Saturday, May 14 in St Dyfnog's woods, the events will be led by poet, writer and performer Helen Jeffery.
The celebration will entail three workshops over the course of the afternoon, covering drama, creative writing and poetry reading, for a variety of ages.
All workshops are free and to end the day, there will be an open mic session for local poets to read their favourite Welsh poem and an original piece of work.
The events start at 1pm with an hour-long drama workshop for children between the ages of seven and 12 years.
Then, at 3pm, there will be a poetry writing workshop for people aged 13 and above.
