FIRST Minister Mark Drakeford MS has wished the Urdd Eisteddfod all the best on its return.
This year's festival is underway in Denbigh today, with thousands of youngsters from across the nation and further afield competing.
On Twitter, Mr Drakeford posted: "As the @EisteddfodUrdd Maes returns for the first time since 2019, I wish them all the best and encourage everyone to visit the festival in Denbighshire this year.

"This is an amazing way to experience Welsh culture and entry is free and open to everyone."
Today sees a visit to the Eisteddfod from Minister for North Wales Lesley Griffiths MS.
