Crowds turned out in force last month for the return of Denbigh Carnival.
The community event had been on hiatus since 2019 as a result of the covid pandemic.
Today we get nostalgic as we look back at the floats and fun of the Denbigh Carnival in July 1980.
Are you pictured? Hopefully you can you spot yourself or friends.

Do you have photos from the past you would like to share? And of course, they can be any event, from any time, any year.
Old school class pictures, how an area used to look or perhaps a day out to a local attraction.
Maybe your Scout, Brownies or sports group with a win or trip, a village carnival or special celebration.
Or simply a family photo from decades back.
You can submit your own snaps here, or you can email claire.pierce@newsquest.co.uk
