A BRITAIN in Bloom judge has been placed in the historic Denbigh stocks!
It wasn't Denbigh in Bloom putting him in there, though, as judge Richard Budge decided to try them out last week!
Last Thursday, Denbigh welcomed two judges from the RHS Britain in Bloom competition.
Richard was joined by Mary Bagley on the day and he decided to take a closer look at the stocks, which are situated on Vale Street.
Denbigh in Bloom chair Lyndsey Tasker said: "Our two RHS Britain in Bloom judges, Richard Budge and Mary Bagley came to Denbigh on Thursday, July 28.
"They were fascinated by our beautiful town and its vast history.
"The morning went very well, however we will not find out how well until the awards ceremony in London in October!
"They were very complimentary about the judging route, Denbigh in Bloom's projects and future plans.
"After the allotted two-and-a-half hours we had for the judging route, we enjoyed delicious refreshments from Glass Onion."

The day concluded a busy spell for Denbigh in Bloom, with Wales in Bloom judges visiting the town in early July.
With this spell now over, Lyndsey added: "Aside from maintaining our floral displays and existing project areas, volunteers are now taking a well-earned break during August to recover from all the hard work required to ensure a route is RHS judge ready!
"We will re-group in September to plot and plan for next year.
"We'd like to thank all everyone who has helped ensure Denbigh looks so good once again this year, as we simply could not do it without all the sponsors and volunteers giving their time."
