THOUSANDS are people enjoyed the sun as a popular Vale of Clwyd event made its welcome return.
For the first time in three years, the Denbigh Show was back on Saturday and it proved to be a hugely successful day.
Organiser Steve Williams said: "We had a really good day at the show and the attendance was up on 2019 at around 2,000 visitors.
"Flower show exhibits were of the highest quality given the difficult growing season with the drought.
"The varied entertainment went down very well with the crowds and we have had lots of positive feedback."
Two big arena displays were on show at the event.
The Mighty Smith Show featured Adrian Smith, former UK Strongest Man winner and World's Strongest Man finalist, presenting his show full of family fun, humour and audience participation.

The main arena also saw the Dangerous Steve Show, which included chainsaw juggling, a giant unicycle, ladder balancing and blindfold motorcycle riding.
The Denbigh Community Archive Group held a local history exhibition in the main marquee and this year’s theme was Denbigh sports.
Plenty of side shows were also available to entertain show-goers, including a treasure trail, junior roll the barrel, Punch & Judy, glitter art, a fun fair and over 50 classic cars and bike displays.
This year also marked the 78th year of the flower show, with almost 300 classes offering all aspects of horticulture, floristry, art, handicraft, cookery and photography.
