A TOP beer festival is back up and running after an enforced three-year break.
The popular Denbigh Charity Beer Festival will be held at Denbigh Town Hall on Saturday, September 17.
More than 600 thirsty customers are expected to sample craft beers, lagers and ales at the event, which returns following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Nearly 40 locally-produced beverages will be on tap at the 17th Denbigh Beer Festival, organised by the Denbigh Round Table.
The volunteer committee also hopes to delight customers with a selection of ciders, prosecco and non-alcoholic alternatives.
Supplementing the pints will be live music entertainment from Edit Acoustic, The Racoons and the Denbigh-based Lukeband, as well as plenty of food by local providers.
Richard Wells, chairman of Denbigh Round Table, the charitable trust for men aged 18-45, said: “The beer festival is by far our biggest fundraiser, it’s such a great event that brings the community together and the money raised from the day is all used to benefit local charitable and good causes.
"We are, as always, extremely grateful to our generous sponsors who are key in making the festival the success it has become."
The festival is now an established event on many ale lovers’ calendars and as the event has grown in popularity so has the demands of organising it.

David Jones, organiser for Denbigh Round Table, added: “We hope to have another successful beer festival on the 17th and it will be great to see so many people having fun whilst raising money for charity.
“It is a lot of work to organise and run the festival, but it is all worth it when you see the enjoyment it brings."
