GOING 'Home' has proved to be popular with Vale of Clwyd museum visitors.

Denbigh Museum's current exhibition is entitled 'The Home' and it is available for viewing at the Grove Road site until the end of September.

Visitors to the popular exhibition have enjoyed looking at the collection of items on display.

"The event has drawn people from as far as Liverpool, Manchester, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire," said Gwyn Jones, curator of the display.

"Visitors from Germany found it a fascinating experience comparing British and German life during previous generations.

"The eclectic collection of items on display range in date from the 18th century to the 1960s and contain exhibits from Denbigh, Trefnant, Groes, Llannefydd, Nantglyn, Llansannan, Betws yn Rhos and elsewhere in the locality."

The exhibition is open to the public on Saturday (12-4pm), Monday and Thursday (2-4pm) afternoons.

Amongst items on view is material relating to washing and ironing, cheese and butter making, cooking, drinking utensils as well as furniture.

This exhibition runs at the site until September 30.
