THEY'VE all been ale and hearty in the Vale of Clwyd - with a five-figure sum being raised for worthy causes.
After an enforced three-year break, the popular Denbigh Charity Beer Festival returned to Denbigh Town Hall recently.
Hundreds of thirsty customers attended the event to sample craft beers, lagers and ales at the event, with the festival returning for the first time since 2019 following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Denbigh and District Round Table, the organisers of the festival, has thanked people for their support.

In a post on Facebook, the round table said: "The event has raised over £10,000 for charities and good causes."
Already, donations of £1,860 have been made to Hope House Children’s Hospice, St Kentigern Hospice, Claire House Children’s Hospice, Prostate Cancer and Cancer Research.
Donation requests are being invited from charities or good causes.
Plans are now being made for the Denbigh and District Round Table Christmas float later this year.
