SONG, comedy and lots of lots - these will be helping to raise funds at a Vale of Clwyd event this winter.

The Welsh National Sheepdog Society 2023 is to present a night of song and comedy with Glyn and Tud on Friday, January 20, 2023 (7pm).

This is being planned by the local committee organising the 2023 Welsh National Sheepdog Trial and the fundraiser will be taking place at Ruthin Rugby Club.

The evening will also feature an auction of promises.

The night of song and comedy has been organised to raise funds to support the Welsh National Sheepdog Trial, which will be held at Llysfasi College from August 10-12, 2023.

The Welsh National Sheepdog Trials are held every summer, with up to 150 dogs competing to gain one of 15 places on the Welsh team to compete against England, Scotland and Ireland at the International Sheepdog Trial in September.

Together with singing and comedy on January 20, there is to be an auction of promises.

This will see items auctioned off by local committee member Glyn Owens to the highest bidder with all proceeds going towards funding the 2023 trial.

Tickets priced at £5 are available from local secretary Grace Baldry-Roberts via the Welsh National Trial social media pages.
