FIREFIGHTERS have been battling a barn blaze in Denbighshire since the early hours of Friday.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) has said that incident occurred in Cynwyd, near Corwen.

Four appliances were mobilised, including an aerial ladder platform - and crews have been at the scene since shortly after midnight. Relief crews remain in attendance damping down.

On arrival, the barn containing approximately 20 tonnes of wood chip biomass was well alight.
