IT'S starting to feel a lot like Christmas for Vale of Clwyd floral enthusiasts.

On a very dark November evening, Denbigh Floral Art Club members and friends were given a demonstration entitled “Christmas Celebration” by Donald Morgan, from Aberystwyth.

Donald is a gold medal winner with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and also a trained judge for the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS).

He managed to keep everyone entertained with his wit and stories from years in the business.

The effortless way that Donald manages to arrange flowers and foliage whilst still having a conversation amazed the audience and hopefully gave them the inspiration to go away to try some ideas themselves.

The next meeting of Denbigh Floral Art Club is on January 10, 2023 at the Plas Pigot Country Club.

This will be the AGM, starting at 7.30pm with refreshments to follow.

The club's year begins on February 7, 2023 (7.30pm) at the Plas Pigot Country Club when Sioned Hughes, from Oswestry, will be demonstrating and her title is “Under the Influence”.
