TALENTED youngsters in Denbighshire have been praised following a festive contest.
School pupils from across the region have taken part in a Christmas card design competition for Plaid Cymru regional MS Llyr Gruffydd.
The overall winning card was designed by Milly Clarke, a year five pupil from Bodnant Community School in Prestatyn.
Cards designed by Ifan Pierce (year five) and Elis Jones (year two), from Ysgol Pentrecelyn, near Ruthin, also won regional prizes.

They were each presented with a prize by Llyr Gruffydd when he visited them at school leading up to Christmas.
Ruthin-based Mr Gruffydd said: “I was delighted with the standard of the card designs this year.
"It’s clear a lot of thought and talent has gone into producing them and it’s nice to meet the young designers and their teachers to thank them in person.
“The winning designs will be sent out across the region and I hope the pupils will take pride in their work being seen by many more people.”
