WHAT a year of fundraising it's been for an intrepid Denbighshire woman.
From conquering her fear of heights to stripping off for a calendar, it's certainly been a year to remember for Corwen's Ali Alcock.
And from all of her amazing efforts, Ali has managed to raise £21,000 for a hugely worthy cause.
Ali has been raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support over the past six years and this year has seen her take part in 'The Big C Part 6 challenge'.
"I’m so chuffed and proud to say I have had another record breaking year of fundraising with yet another personal best, a 'mahoosive' £21,000 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support!
"The fact we have achieved this with the cost of living crisis is absolutely overwhelming!
"It has been hard work and I have continuously been doing this for the whole year, but I'm so, so pleased!"

Ali's fundraising efforts have been spurred on after the death of her beloved cousin, Mark 'Weeksy' Weeks, of Johnstown, near Wrexham, who lost his courageous battle with a terminal brain tumour in September 2021.
Fittingly, she reached the £20,000-mark for this year on the anniversary week of Mark's death.
In the first four years of her fundraising venture, she raised £5,000 per year, but she upped the ante in 2021 by raising £20,000.
She has even topped that this year thanks to plenty of amazing activities.
Earlier this year, a Kit Off for Cancer calendar was published and Ali is looking to sell more of them before the end of 2022.
A seven-day challenge over the summer focused on most of this year's fundraising activities.
As part of the week, Ali - who’s terrified of heights - looked to conquer her fears with a 10-minute wing-walk as a plane was doing aerobatics!
She also completed a 15,000 ft skydive, did a hike up Snowdon, held a charity race night in Chirk, in addition to charity football matches.
More recently, an auction of promises raised in the region of £800.
"I have also recently been featured in both My Weekly and Good Housekeeping magazines for my fundraising efforts," added Ali.
"In six years of fundraising I have raised just over £60,000!"
Planning is already underway for fundraising in 2023!
Ali added she would like to thank her main sponsors Ifor Williams Trailers, Dragon Drilling and Vintage Home Styles Emporium.
