A FEAST of choirs will help to welcome the spring in the Vale of Clwyd.
The Ruthin Festival of Choirs will be held throughout March, offering a number of concerts for music fans to enjoy.
A festival spokeswoman said: "We have a feast of choral music here in Ruthin in March, to herald the spring.
"Each concert is very different from the other with five choirs in total."
The festival will begin at St Peter's Church, Ruthin, on March 4 (7pm).
This will be an evening with Voci Chamber Choir and soloists.
The programme for the evening will include music by Bach, Schütz, Victoria and others.
Entry is free, while donations are invited, with proceeds going to St Peter's Church.
Wine and juice will be available before the concert.

Following this, on March 5 (6pm), there will be Evensong by candlelight in the company of St Peter's Church choir at the same venue.
Turning to March 21 and a different St Peter's Church - this time at Llanbedr DC - will play host to performances from talented youngsters.
From 7pm, the children of Song School and the Dyffryn Clwyd Singers will perform all sorts of items, from John Rutter to Indian folk music.
There will be a rare opportunity provided for music fans a few days later.
This event will take place on March 25 (5pm) at St Saeran's Church, Llanynys.
Those present will gain a rare opportunity to experience music and worship written around 1500.
Liverpool Renaissance Singers will sing the stunning Missa Pange Lingua by Josquin.
People are invited to either take part in this experience of worship or simply go along and observe.
Entry to all of the concerts and events is free, while contributions at each of them are optional.
