AN entrepreneur from Denbigh has arranged a jumble sale to help local families during the rise in living costs.

The jumble sale will be held in Denbigh Town Hall this Sunday, February 26.

Anne-Marie Jones, 35, has stressed how much supporting the local community in these difficult times is vitally important.

She said: “With the cost-of-living crisis, I thought it would be a good idea to hold a jumble sale in the community.

"As a mum to three boys, I know how fast kids grow and with the food shop and energy bills constantly rising, there’s not often much left for treats.

"I can only imagine how difficult it is for some families when the children outgrow clothes so fast.”

The jumble sale will enable families to get vital items at a low cost to help them during these difficult times.

Anne-Marie is urging the public support to go along to join the jumble sale, either as a stall holder or to have a look around.

There will be refreshments available to purchase, to raise money for The Forget Me Not Project.

This charity has helped a number of people in the area.

The Denbigh Forget Me Not project was initially established as a support group for vulnerable and lonely people to offer support during lockdown at the beginning of 2020.

There is a small fee of £10 to have a stall at the jumble sale to cover the hire of the hall, with any profit from stalls also being donated towards the Forget Me Not Project.
