A NORTH Wales company is definitely rock 'n' roll - and a brilliant design has drummed up a seal of approval from the member of an iconic band.
LIMB-Art, based in Bylchau, was tasked with creating a Pink Floyd-inspired prosthetic leg cover by a customer.
The finished product delighted Mike Elkins, and his wife Lesley, from the Wirral and it has also been approved by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason.
Nick signed the beautifully-made leg cover at in his London studios.
LIMB-Art owner and director Mark Williams said: "The patient phoned me and he had already got a carbon fibre cover from the NHS.
"But his wife bought him a gift voucher at Christmas for a full custom-made leg cover.
"He came up to see us in mid-January.
"We have got an in-house graphic designer now and the customer said he's a big Pink Floyd fan."

Mike wanted to incorporate iconic The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon album covers on the prosthetic leg covering.
"It looked fantastic!" added Mark
"We produce CGI versions and send it to the patient to see what they think of it.
"With this one, we got it right first time!"
Mark was so thriller with the outcome that he decided to search for a Pink Floyd member to sign it.
He found the accounts department of Nick Mason Music and Mark received a reply within half-an-hour.
"It's the first one we have had signed," he added.
"We have done an Iron Maiden leg cover.
"They brought an album out 'For Those About To Rock'.
"We amended it to 'For Those About To Hop'!"
LIMB-Art has also created an ACDC leg cover in the past, while one focusing on AMG Petronas Mercedes Formula 1 team was signed by Lewis Hamilton.
These are exciting times for LIMB-Art, which now has a contract with the NHS and the company is also established in the United States.
Looking to immediate future, Mark said: "It's mainly focusing on expansion.
"We have got 11 countries we are selling to with partnerships."
Later this month, LIMB-Art is a finalist in the Federation of Small Businesses Awards in the exporter of the year category.
The awards will take place on March 24 at the Coal Exchange Hotel in Cardiff.
