The Coronation of King Charles III is nearly here and the city of St Asaph is getting ready to celebrate.
The following events are taking place over the bank holiday weekend:
Saturday, May 6 -
Parish Church screening with refreshments – fully booked.
Sunday, May 7 -
- Celebratory Evensong at the Cathedral to mark the Coronation of King Charles III at 3.30pm.
- Community Picnic on the Common from 12pm until 5pm. For those who don’t have a street party to go to, they can bring their lunch and spend the afternoon with others
Monday, May 8
- Big Help Out. Mount Road cemetery – to tidy the graves – contact Duncan Cameron editorsact@gmail.com
- Litter pick at 10am with the Afon Elwy Environment Group – meeting by the MUGA/Tennis Courts at Roe Plas
- Riverside walk at 2pm, learning about the flora and fauna, with the Afon Elwy Environment Group. Meeting by the Library.
