MEMBERS of Ruthin Cycling Club will take on a 360-mile cycle challenge to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance.
The group, which rides on Wednesday mornings, will take on the challenge on June 23, which will see them cycle from Ruthin and across Gwynedd to raise money for the service’s Charitable Trust.
Via their JustGiving fundraising page, which has already raised £1,768, the club said: “We are all experienced cyclists and confident that we can all ride the challenging distance of 360 miles and the tough hills en-route.

“We have trained hard on long distances and are determined and hopeful that our efforts will raise much-needed funds for Wales Air Ambulance.”
Most of the participants are retired, ranging from 55 to almost 70-years-old.
They have also been given T-shirts by the Air Ambulance ahead of their challenge.
