A CHARTERED accountancy firm held its annual coffee morning offside its Ruthin office, raising hundreds of pounds for a St Asaph hospice, last week.

Hill & Roberts held the event, at its premises on Tan y Castell, from 10am-12pm on Thursday, June 22.

This was in aid of St Kentigern Hospice, which offers a wide range of services to those with life-limiting illnesses in North Wales.

In total, £860 was raised at the coffee morning to support the hospice’s work.

A hot drink and cake were both available, while there was also a raffle, of which the main prize was a hamper of Welsh food and drink.

There was also entertainment provided by the children of Ysgol Pen Barras, Ruthin.

A Hill & Roberts spokesperson said: “Our annual coffee morning in aid of St Kentigern Hospice was held on June 22, and we raised a fantastic sum of £860.

“Our thanks go to everyone who attended or made a donation and to Ysgol Pen Barras for entertaining us all.

“We are also very grateful to everyone who supplied cakes for the event and to our staff for their hard work.”
