RESIDENTS are being urged to close their windows following a fire at a barn.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service remain at the scene of the blaze which happened at an agricultural barn in Llandegla village in the early hours of this morning (July 10).
A spokesperson for the service said: "We were called at 1.07am to an incident at Llandegla.
"Two crews are still in attendance this morning.
"The fire involved a barn containing hay."
Four crews were in attendance through the night, in addition to a specialist vehicle with a high volume pump.
The cause and extent of damage has not yet been confirmed.
The fire service tweeted at 5.20am: "Can local residents close windows.
We are currently in attendance at an incident in Llandegla area. Can local residents close windows. Please avoid the area whilst we deal with the incident. pic.twitter.com/o3jiFHSLbf
