A STUDENT has been appointed to the UK Youth Advisory Group.
Lili-Seren Young, who is also head girl at Myddleton College, Denbigh, where she is studying studying A level politics, made the panel after successfully being shortlisted and then interviewed.
The group is made up of six young people aged 25 and under.
The selection process is run by the British Youth Council, in partnership with the Department of Culture Media and Sport.
Lili said: “It’s an absolute privilege to have been invited onto this group, I had to read the email several times as I couldn’t quite believe it.”
Group members are given the opportunity to engage with policy makers across UK Government to ensure young voices are heard on key issues that impact young people’s lives.
