NEW food hygiene ratings have been given to four businesses in Ruthin, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The food hygiene rating scheme gives businesses in England and Wales a rating of 0-5, 5 being the highest, based on their hygiene standards.
The scheme is run in partnership with local authorities and in Wales businesses are obligated to display their rating.
The following businesses in Ruthin were rated:
- Rated 5: Ruthin Market Hall at Market Street, Ruthin; rated on July 14
- Rated 5: Welcome at 20 Borthyn, Ruthin; rated on July 11
- Rated 4: Griffin Inn at Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd, Ruthin; rated on July 20
- Rated 3: Carniboar at 1 Upper Clwyd Street, Ruthin; rated on July 12
